Besides the money, what I like about Hari Raya is that; after my dad and brothers have came back from prayers, we’ll have breakfast together, then simultaneously, after everything is cleared out and money given out, everyone will sleep. Even the parents. Only during the evenings, other relatives and friends will come; While us kids, just have to do our own thing, which is; each one on the laptop or desktop or going out. which reminds me of Orchard Road :D
For now, i need to catch up on my sleep.
Selamat Hari Raya Aidil Adha All!

When two individuals could stay in a room, both doing their own thing, only occasionally going to each other after a period of time just to give a peck or two may seem weird or awkward, but to me, it makes me feel complete, content and all other feelings falling in that category. I like how we could do two completely different things, being in our own world, despite being with each other 24/7. I could watch my series, while he’ll be finishing up his assignments. I’ll be reading my book, while he’ll play the guitar. I’ll be face-booking, blogging and all the cyberspace huhaa, while he plays the guitar again. I’ll be playing my games and he’ll be online. Again, I love it how we could have our own little time without crowding each other’s space. A hug or two would be given in between our “alone” time. But hey, that’s enough. I’ve heard stories about couples that could not be in each other’s company for too long, but we just fall into it, without stumbling on the ground. It may seem that we’re clingy or what’s not, but it doesn’t bother us, because we some sort of have this understanding when to give each other their own alone time while being in each other space. *I’ve learnt that if i wanted to say anything, or ask anything, I should always wait for him to finish the song he’s playing on the guitar. Well, it does help with my patience level (: *
It’s different for every couple. Each one of them has their own thing, what they’re comfortable with. Ours is this. It revolves around each other.
I woke up this morning with writing on my arms. It took me a few minutes to decipher them, then it clicked; I wrote them in case I’ll forget what Talab said. Now that I remembered, I can’t stop laughing. :D
After a few more minutes, I recalled what we did last night. Darling, Talab and I were you-tubing songs; from R & B songs to Disney movie songs (Pocahontas, Beauty and the beast and Lion KIng) , to Spice Girls, to Britney Spears, to Avril Lavigne which eventually led us to you-tube Greenday songs before falling asleep. Thinking about it, how could we move from one genre to another? All that i could come up with is that late nights makes us do stupid things.
I remember our foundation days, where we plan things on the spot.
1) We suddenly went to Bagan Lalang in the middle of the night. We actually stayed in the car for a few hours because it was raining and we couldn’t go to the beach. Then, SOMEONE had to say they saw a guy holding a GUN. Guess what it was? It was just a bottle of beer in his hand. Talk about getting us shit-scared. haha
2) A few days before our Macro-economics final exam, we decided to go Port Dickson to fish. Again, it was raining, but we still went into the shallow part of the sea and caught small crabs.
3) We went to KLIA to go to Burger King or Delifrance for our supper. Which we always ended up getting lost on the way back.
4) There was this one night, we went to Kajang’s Mcd’s and it didn’t have the breakfast meal that i wanted. SO we went to Bangi’s Mcd’s and they said we had to wait for awhile. We waited from 5am to 7am just for my meal. WTH?
5) We went to Bukit Bintang just to find shisha. we roamed around for 2 hours until we finally found one. And that night, we did the same thing again.
All of our “little adventures” always made us come back to campus around 7 - 8am. Sounds like we wasted alot of time on roaming around. But to hell with it. We all had a great time. This are the things that makes Uni life awesome.
I love the people who came along. They made my life more enjoyable. You guys know who are. Love you guys to bit and pieces. (:
